The femme fatale: An enchanting, mystical character who's good looks and seductive charm leads men hypnotised. The initial idea was to transform Manav into a woman akin to Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and other actresses from the era, and so we pampered him up with red lipstick, deep-set eye shadow, long eyeliner and of course the iconic mole. We then fitted him with a wig that, unfortunately, wasn't curly nor blonde. He was directed to smoke the long make-up pen as it resembled a smoking stick; essential in completing the look. During editing, I chose the song "Fly me to the moon" covered by Doris Day to play over the video.
